Anyone who has a registered account will be charged an administrative fee on September 15, 2009.
Registered accounts opened after July 31, 2009 will NOT be charged a fee.

You will see notice of this on your June 2009 ScotiaMcLeod statement. Your September 2009 month end
statement will contain a message stating the fee has been charged to the account.

***ScotiaMcLeod’s policy is that the TFSA fee will be waived if there is more than $250,000 in household assets with a ScotiaMcLeod Wealth Advisor.

You have a few payment options available to you. Please give Debra Sheppard a call to discuss your payment option at (905) 444-4523.

• Pay by cheque;
• Funds may be transferred from another non-registered ScotiaMcLeod account;
• Liquidate securities/mutual funds to cover;
• If there are sufficient funds to cover the fee nothing has to be done.

None of these payment methods will produce a tax receipt.
